Making the Most of a Small Bathroom
When renovating smaller bathrooms, thoughtful design is essential. For this project, we installed a concealed Grohe floating toilet system to create a sleek, modern appearance while maximising floor space. The installation was finished with elegant brushed brass flush buttons from Clifton Trade Bathrooms, adding a luxurious finishing touch.
The toilet boxing was completed using a shaker grey decorative end panel from Howdens Joinery, creating a seamless finish that perfectly complements the fitted furniture.
Clever Storage with Hidden Functionality
One of the standout features of this renovation is the bespoke storage solution.
An 800mm tall wall unit from Howdens Joinery was installed to discreetly house the property’s boiler, keeping it completely out of sight while maintaining easy access. The centre post of the unit has been designed to be removable, allowing straightforward servicing and maintenance whenever required without affecting the finished appearance.
This practical solution provides a clean, uncluttered look while making excellent use of the available space.
Bespoke Finishing Touches
To complement the fitted furniture, we handcrafted slim 25mm solid oak shelves above the basin and concealed toilet, adding warmth, character and practical storage.
A stylish cloakroom basin was installed with a matching brushed brass monobloc tap, tying in beautifully with the brass flush plate and creating a cohesive design throughout the room.
To complete the renovation, we fitted new 180mm Taurus skirting boards and matching architraves, giving the room a crisp, high quality finish. An LED bathroom lighting kit supplied by Clifton Trade Bathrooms provides bright, energy efficient lighting that enhances the contemporary feel of the space.
The finished result is a compact bathroom that feels spacious, elegant and perfectly designed for modern living.
