Ed's passion for building started young. He joined a specialist college programme while still at school, learning practical trades from an early age — beginning with bricklaying before moving into carpentry, where he achieved his Level 3 Carpentry qualification. After qualifying, he worked as a carpenter and kitchen fitter, developing a real passion for creating high-quality finished spaces.
While fitting kitchens, Ed became increasingly drawn to the engineering and problem-solving side of plumbing and heating. He went on to gain his Level 3 Plumbing qualification and then qualified as a Gas Engineer — building a breadth of skills that few sole traders can match.

In 2023, Ed launched Baldwins Plumbing & Heating. As the business grew and he became increasingly involved in complete bathroom renovations, kitchen projects, and larger property improvements, Baldwins of Malvern was created — a natural evolution to reflect the full scope and ambition of the work.
Baldwins of Malvern exists to offer homeowners a better experience: bringing skilled trades together under one trusted company, managing projects from start to finish, and maintaining exceptional standards throughout. Ed loves working alongside homeowners, designers, and suppliers to bring ideas to life — and genuinely enjoys taking clients on that journey from first idea to finished result.
